You can close registrations for your challenge at any time. Doing so will mean that no-one else can register for your challenge. This may be useful if you have a fixed budget and you don't want to go over this for your additional participant costs.
Here's how to close registrations:
Open Your Admin Area
Log in to your admin area (your challenge URL with "/admin" at the end).
Go to the Challenge's Settings Section
Check the Registration setting in General
Click on "Close Registrations" to start the process of closing registrations.
Before closing registrations, the system will ask you to confirm some settings. This is because the amount you'll pay for the challenge depends on the number of "active" participants - ie. the number of people who have joined a team. Even if you close registrations and stop new participants registering for the challenge, someone with an existing account could still join a team and therefore increase your number of "active" participants.
The options on this screen give you full control over who can join a team when you close registrations. You can also cancel any pending invites that have been sent but not yet accepted.
